This year I need to shag more and other random musings!

And I fall back onto the face of the planet 🙂

Couple of reasons for my lack of blogging in the past couple of months … things at the boudoir where crazy last year, we opened a new branch in KZN, and made excellent progress on 2 new branches in Gauteng opening shortly, and just as I started winding down and heading towards my leave, I was hit with agonising back pain that had me up all night in agony which turned out to be a gallstone stuck in the neck of my gallbladder and I was whisked off to hospital to have my gallbladder removed (delightful – I am now the proud owner of 4 abdominal scars) … so bit of an insane end to the year.

I have spent my 2 weeks of sick leave and 3 weeks of leave doing ABSOLUTELY nothing … and it has been so wonderful 🙂   I slept when I wanted, ate when I wanted, watched Series all day ‘cos I could, and avoided this notebook like the plague!  After my crazy year (actually 3), it’s just what a needed!  I did no jolling at all … New Year’s Eve was a chilled braai at Bond Girl’s place – just what the Dr ordered.  I simply have not been able to face the idea of clubbing!  Not where my head is at right now, and I am not apologising for it either.

So, what’s new and exciting?  The boudoir has done so well that I have been able to quit my car job, Christmas present from the boudoir to me, I feel quite spoiled going back to just 1 job this year … but WOW, what a blessing that this business can finally afford me full time.  Our team has grown, we have a new staff member … the gorgeous Pregnant Fairy … so despite me dropping off the planet from the boudoir for over a month, everything has not only run smoothly, but flourished.  I actually can’t wait to get back next week!  I’m ready!  Of course I go straight to Jhb for 2 weeks for final setup and opening of the boudoir there, so taking advantage of my rest now 🙂

I don’t really do New Year’s Resolutions, but this year I think I really NEED to shag more!!!!!!!  Ridiculous that I’m sorting out everyone else’s love lives and mine is passing me by … but hey … I have 1 job now, and don’t have to work all night, every night, so who knows what this year will bring 😉
